A targeted programme is effective in the management of scoliosis by correcting poor posture. It can help release tight areas of your spine, improve awareness of alignment and strengthen internal muscles that help to support and control your spine. Pilates, or any other exercise cannot fully correct scoliosis but has been found to alleviate tension and strain on the body that arise from its postural deviations.

An initial assessment will be required to enrol and assess clients to then apply the specific adaptations necessary to improve areas of weakness and to facilitate improved movement patterns.
