Sophia is a specialist Back4Good® practitioner. Based on the world-renowned Body Control programme she offers ‘Healthy Back Classes’ aimed directly at helping clients with the prevention of low back pain and the management of chronic low back pain.
The Back4Good® programme was designed to specifically help those with low back pain. More than 80% of the adult population suffer from low back pain at some point during their life. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines recommend that people with non-specific low back pain should be encouraged to stay physically active and exercise. The Back4Good® programme uses modified Pilates based exercises that are safe and effective, specifically tailored to the individual client’s needs.
Medical clearance and completion of an enrolment form are required before an initial in person consultation.
